Job Description:
This position is available for both junior and intermediate levels, whereby the successful candidate will work collaboratively within the development team on assigned projects supporting. Since developers will be paired at times during complex projects and working with innovations/new technologies, support and guidance from senior team members will be provided. The underlying expectation for this role is a proficient working knowledge of iOS/Xcode as well as the Android native development toolkit.
Core responsibilities:
- Thorough understanding and experience in SDLC methodologies (waterfall, agile)
- Experience implementing solutions and maintaining existing applications for iOS, Android and Blackberry
- Participate in walkthroughs, JADs, and project meetings
- Perform unit testing and write validating programs
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with native mobile application development languages and tools (iOS and Android).
- Follow security best practices for mobile applications within financial services industry.
- Working knowledge of User Interface design concepts and information architecture is an advantage.
- Background/expertise with the following: Objective C, Xcode, Android SDK, Kony IDE, Spring, SOAP, SoapUI, Web Services, REST, Hibernate, jQuery, Maven, Jenkins, ANT, Weblogic Application Server, RMI
